The highest denomination issued in the small European nation of Luxembourg prior to the introduction of the Euro was this 5000 Francs note. The first of two different dates is seen here. A note that has become quite difficult to find in recent years, as the available supply has entered long-term collections, particularly in Superb Gem Uncirculated condition.
