Straits Settlements ND (1917) P-7 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 25 Cents
A difficult type in above average grade for this small-change issue that was printed during a coin shortage in the region. We have a very difficult time identifying the minor stains noted by PMG as the note is clean and original with above average eye-appeal for this issue. Most of these are well-circulated with major problems, but this is a nice exception to that rule, and it is certainly nicer than many others we have seen offered recently (and this is not a type that is offered in every single major auction). PMG mentions "Minor stains".
