Confederate States 1861 T-38 PMG Fine 12 2 Dollars
A type that should have been dated June 2, 1862, but which erroneously was dated September of 1861. Quickly corrected, creating a scarce type, which was also the first $2 note issued in the Confederacy. This is a well-circulated example of this rarity which does have some mounting remnants on the back, but which otherwise retains good eye-appeal for the assigned grade. PMG mentions "Previously mounted."
