Issued for the Christian Jubilee starting April 2, 1933 commemorating of the 19th century of the death of Jesus. Pope Pius XI was quoted in the New York Times on 25 December 1932, that the "common opinion of the faithful" identifies the year AD 33 with the death of Jesus Christ.
