CURAÇAO: British Occupation, AR 3 reaal (18 stuiver), ND (1815), KM-13, countermarked 5-petalled rosace on 1/5 cut down Spanish-American 8 reales of the Mexico City mint, PCGS graded G4. The British captured Curaçao in 1800 and held it until 1803.[7] They attacked again in 1804, and then held it from 1807 to 1816,[8] after which they handed it back to the Dutch under the terms of the Treaty of Paris.
