SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 8.06 g, 12 h), Antioch on the Orontes, late 280s. Male figure seated left on pile of rocks, holding ankh in right hand and resting left at his side. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Head of horned elephant to right; in exergue, here off the flan, Ξ. HGC 9, 78 (R2). SC 25. WSM 929. A very rare type, Green patina. Nearly very fine.
