SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-226 BC. (Bronze, 18 mm, 8.52 g, 1 h), (ΔΕΛ) mint associated with Antioch. Draped bust of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Nike standing left, holding wreath in extended right hand and palm in left; to left, monogram of ΔΕΛ. HGC 9, 323 (R1-2). SC 713.1a. WSM 1169. Dark brown patina with earthen highlights. Very fine.
