SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos VIII Epiphanes (Grypos), 121/0-97/6 BC. (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.58 g, 12 h), probably Damascus. Diademed head of Antiochos VIII to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ Zeus Uranios standing lefr, crescent on head, holding star in extended right hand and scepter in left; to left, monogram of ΗP. CSE 881-2. HGC 9, 1224 (S). SC 2342. Green patina with sandy highlights. Very fine.
