KINGS OF ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires III, with Anzaze, circa 82/1-73/2 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 15.65 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Hedyphon, uncertain date. Jugate and draped busts of Kamnaskires III, diademed, and Anzaze, wearing stephane, to left; to right, anchor. Rev. BΑCΙΛEΩC ΚΑΜΝΑCΚΙΡΟΥ ΒΑCΙΛΙCCΗC ΑΝΖΑΖΗC / MAKEΔΩN Zeus seated left on throne with a back, drawning back his right leg, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, Nike, holding wreath; in exergue, date (off flan). Van't Haaff Type 7.1, subtype 1-2. Rough spot on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
