The discovery of this die combination validates the relative chronology of the obverse dies set out by Schwei. Previously, obverse die A4 was only known for this issue with reverse die R18, and was not linked to any reverse dies of obverse A5. Reverse die R19, however, was only known to be paired with A5, so the present coin with dies A4/R19, now links obverse dies A4 and A5.
