KINGS of MACEDON. Perseus. 179-168 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31.5mm, 16.93 g, 12h). Attic standard. Pella or Amphipolis mint; Zoilos, mintmaster. Struck circa 174-173 BC. Diademed head right / Eagle, wings spread, standing right on thunderbolt; ZΩ (mintmaster's) monogram above, ZΩ monogram to right, ΛΩ monogram between legs; all within oak wreath; star below. Mamroth, Perseus 14; HGC 3.1, 1091. Toned, flan flaw and scrape on obverse. VF.
