Bacchius kneels right, with camel at his side, extending olive branch; in exergue, BACCHIVS; on right, IVDAEVS. Cr. 431/1; B. 13. AR. 3.68 g. 19.50 mm. Scarce. Sound metal and broad flan. Choice and brilliant. Slightly off centre, otherwise. EF. Bacchius, unknown to history under that name at least, might be Aristobulos II of Jerusalem (who submitted to Pompey) or Dionysios of Tripolis.
