Heraclius (610-641). AV Tremissis, Constantinople mint. Obv. dN hRACLIYS PP [AVI]. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, beardless. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧS. Cross potent; beneath, CONOB. D.O. 53b; Sear 786. AV. 1.42 g. 17.50 mm. Slightly waved flan, insignificant scratches on obverse. Good VF. P. Grierson suggests that in the reverse legend ending 'AVGYS', the S does not refer to the 6th officina, but is merely an abbreviated form of 'Augusti'.
