Leo III and Constantine V (717-741). AV Semissis (?). Uncertain Italian mint. Obv. Crowned and draped bust of Leo III facing, holding cross on globe in his right hand and akakia in his left. Rev. Crowned and draped bust of Constantine V facing, holding cross potent on globe in his right hand and akakia in his left. Cf. D.O. 99; Cf. Sear 1537A. AV. 1.42 g. 14.00 mm. RRR. Extremely rare, know only in bronze (cf. Sear, p. 291). Area of weak strike, otherwise. EF.
