Brandenburg-Ansbach. Friedrich II, Albert, & Christian Taler 1631/0 MS65 NGC, Nürnberg mint, KM50.3, Dav-6238, Wilmersdörffer-872, Grüber Collection-4225. Date reworked from 1630. A miracle of survivorship for its nearly four century-old age, clearly owing to great care taken to set it aside just after it was struck. Issued during the minority of the three brothers, that production quality of this level was even conceivable at the time speaks volumes to the status of German minting technology, hardly any camber detectable over the planchet that positively beams with glassy luster.
