Fulda. Bernhard Gustav Adolf Taler 1672 MS66 NGC, Fulda mint, KM17, Dav-5316, Gehrling/Erdmann-75/2. Produced upon the election of Bernhard as sole Prince-Bishop of Fulda. An incredibly scarce type that only comes to market once or so every year, and almost never in comparable states of preservation. The sheer visual appeal of the offering propels it into an elite tier, bathed in shimmering reflectivity that pervades the expanses revealing tangerine undertones throughout a cambered flan. Clearly a conditional and visual outlier that will demand the attention of even the most advanced Taler collectors.
