Hannover. Georg V Proof Taler 1862-B PR65 Cameo PCGS, Hannover mint, cf. KM230 (unlisted in Proof), Dav-682, AKS-144, Thun-174. A type which, although we have offered several examples in Proof from the surrounding dates, we have not previously seen in this finish from this year. Among the most beautiful reverses used on Georg's coinage, the design comes alive when backlit by such a pervasive Proof flash, aided by a generally pearlescent color throughout.
