Hohenlohe-Kirchberg. Christian Friedrich Karl Taler 1781 G-WKS MS64+ NGC, Schwabach mint, KM11, Dav-2359, Schön-6, Albrecht-213. "G" mintmaster mark below the bust variety. Another wonderful representative from the relatively short-lived Kirchberg line, who would be mediatized two decades later, distinguished from the previous lot by the absence of the "W" mintmaster mark below the bust. Imbued with commendable depth to the engraved features and clearly the work of a skilled artisan, the piece at hand exhibits impeccable detail that becomes elevated by a pervasive cabinet tone and mint flash most notable to the reverse.
