Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. Carl 2 Gulden 1849 MS66+ NGC, Karlsruhe mint, KM26, Dav-721, AKS-18, Thun-209. An incredible specimen, and the only collectible date from this two-year ruler, boasting a miniscule mintage of just 1,213 pieces total. Showcasing crisp, semi-Prooflike appearances throughout, the gunmetal low-lying fields relay ample reflectivity fully supporting the frosted portrait of Carl Anton. The last issue of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, which would be incorporated into to Prussia that year, and currently the finest certified at NGC by a full point.
