Löwenstein-Wertheim-Virneburg. Eucharius Kasimir Taler 1697-FS MS65 NGC, Wertheim mint, KM16, Dav-6908, Forster-926, Wibel-106. Gem Mint State in every regard, and certainly one of if not the most appealing example of the type, fielding stark imagery and a truly advanced aesthetic character. The reverse vignettes portray the historic religious split of this familial line between the Protestant branch of Virneburg and the Catholic branch of Rochefort. Mirror-like resplendence resounds, highlighting a most appreciable tangerine and amber hue that adorns the surfaces wholly, while every feature rises in clean contrast against its surrounding elements. Among the certified population, this offering stands leaps and bounds above the rest, with the next finest designated a mere AU58, and as such will demand the attention of conditionally conscious collectors.
