WALWET (or VALVEL or FALFET) (Lydian), legend between confronted lion heads, the right fully on the flan, radiate globule on forehead / Two incuse square punches of unequal size, side by side, with irregular interior surfaces. Linzalone 1079. Weidauer 94. Le Rider, La naissance de la monnaie, pp. 49-57. A rare left facing example. Nicely struck with areas of bright highlighting.
