Great Britain
Kings of All England. Harold I (1035-1040) Penny ND (1038-1040) MS63 NGC, London mint, Goltsige as moneyer, Fleur-de-lis type, S-1165, N-803, Hildebrand-144, SCBI XI (Reading)-Unl., SCBI XVIII (Copenhagen)-386 (different dies), SCBI XXX (American)-Unl., SCBI XL (Stockholm)-1131-1153 (these dies not listed). 0.98gm. +HΛR | OLD REC, diademed, armored bust of Harold left, shield and scepter held before / [...] LTS | G ON | LVN, voided long cross, limbs united at their bases by a circle enclosing a pellet, fleur-de-lis between two pellets in each angle. One of the highest grades yet awarded to a Penny of Harold at NGC, and absolutely astounding preservation for the type, with the Millennia example ranking as a mere AU58 by comparison; we also have never offered an example of this issue in Mint State. Sleekly executed over the obverse, with the reverse seemingly heavily doubled, though the end of the moneyer's name is still clear, with just a bit of strain necessary to read the mint.
