An unimaginable grade for this typically crude series and one we experienced in an MS66 just recently, having no expectation of witnessing anything finer. Yet here we have the sole occupant of "top top" status, dressed in a fully boisterous golden resplendence in practically as-struck condition. Seldom-seen are any gold South American issues of the 19th century preserved so well, dripping with originality and ample luster, and is expected to land in a distinguished collection.
