A fantastic representative of early English hammered gold coinage, revealing practically as-struck appearances that engender the piece so sought-after. Fully Gem Mint State and bathed in blushes of harvest gold, we note that no other example ranks more highly, this piece being tied for finest with three others, one of which is in this very sale.
