Tiberius. As Caesar, AD 4-14. Æ Semis (20mm, 4.72 g, 8h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck under Augustus, AD 9-11. TI CAESAR AVGVST IMPERAT V, laureate head left / Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding a palm frond and wreath. RIC I –; BMCRE I 577 note (Augustus); Cohen 32. VF, green and reddish-brown patina. Very rare.
