PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy III Euergetes. 246-222 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 14.10 g, 12h). Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 246-242/1 BC. Diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; cornucopia in left field. CPE 732; Svoronos 1001; SNG Copenhagen 167–8. Light golden toning, minor porosisty and scratches, rim damage, some original find patina remains. Good VF. Quite attractive in hand.
