GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, ND (1625). London Mint; mm: lis. Charles I. PCGS Genuine--Devices Outlined, EF Details.
S-2753; N-2190; Brooker-229 (same dies). Group 1, type 1a. Obverse: Charles, holding sword and reins, riding caparisoned horse trotting left; plumes on the horse's head and crupper; Reverse: Garnished square-topped coat-of-arms. Despite the noted device outlining in order to create a bolder look, this pleasingly toned example stands as a great example from the first year of the reign of Charles I.
