Obverse: Charles, holding sword and reins, riding caparisoned horse trotting left; Reverse: Garnished oval coat-of-arms; Welsh plumes above. Exceptionally elegant and enticing, this specimen presents an even strike across a well produced planchet of good metal. The toning is fairly deep gray, with some hints of champagne, along with some remaining brilliance, highlighting the devices. The finer of just two certified for the type at PCGS.
