Obverse: Diademed female head (Clementia?) right, wearing oak wreath; LII (= 52, Caesar's age) to left; Reverse: Gallic trophy, with oval shield and carnyx; securis surmounted by wolf's head to right. Well centered and most attractively toned with a delightful cabinet nature, this enchanting and fully wholesome specimen dazzles the viewer, with just a few very minor--and seemingly inconsequential--bankers' marks in front of the face of Clementia.
