CHILE. Silver 2 Pesos Pattern, 1914-So. Santiago Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-64.
KM-Pn27. The only certified example on the PCGS population, tied for finest certified with one other example on the NGC census. This beautifully preserved survivor exhibits crisp frosty devices with reflective fields. A thin layer of light mottled patina slightly subdues the brilliance adding a bit of character to this lovely specimen. Close inspection of the surfaces and devices reveal evidence of planchet adjustments and die polish prior to striking indicating great care and precision in the preparation of this pattern only issue.
