MEXICO. "Royal" Presentation Cob 1/2 Real, 1722-Mo J. Mexico City Mint, Assayer Jose E. de Leon (J). Philip V. PCGS Genuine--Holed, AU Details.
KM-24; Cal-202. The only certified example of the date in this format on either the NGC or PCGS census. Boldly struck and very attractive, this handsome example displays lovely old envelope patina that complements the intricate designs of this small silver issue. The devices are well-struck and complete with only a minor shift in the strike. A small hole is noticed at 12 o'clock, commonly encountered on issues of this format, but is hardly distracting.
