JUDAEA. Trio of Ancient-Inspired Lead Tokens (3 Pieces), ND (ca. 1960). All pieces: UNCIRCULATED.
All three of these rather interesting and RARE tokens struck in lead feature a common reverse reading "ISRAEL DISCOUNT BANK LTD" around a logo, with the obverse channeling coins from ancient Judaea. One specimen mimics the obverse of a year 2 Shekel from the Jewish War (C.E. 67/8), while the other two mimic the reverse of a year 2 Sela from the Bar Kochba Revolt (C.E. 133/4).
