PHOENICIA, Sidon. temp. Ba`alšillem (Sakton) I-Ba'ana. Circa 425-401 BC. AR Sixteenth Shekel (9.5mm, 0.67 g, 12h). Phoenician galley left before city wall with three towers; [in exergue, lion couchant left] / King of Persia standing right, drawing bow, quiver over shoulder; [to left, incuse head of satyr left]; to right, incuse head of goat right; all within incuse square. E&E-S Group III.3.a; HGC 10, 230. Toned, patches of thick find patina, some roughness and light scratches. VF.
