Additional Frossard Catalogues Not Present Above
Frossard, Ed. AUCTION SALE CATALOGUES. New York, 1887-1901. Forty-four catalogues, being Adams Nos. 68, 90, 91, 93-95, 98, 110, 112-115, 117-119, 121-124, 126, 129, 131-135, 140, 151, 153-158, 160-166, 169 and 173-174. 8vo, original printed paper or card covers. Nine are Thick Paper sales (Nos. 133, 135, 151, 153, 154, 155, 160 and 166); and five are hand-priced (Nos. 115, 133, 135, 153 and 166). Typical wear; mostly very good or better. A supplementary group to the above Stack Family set. The two lots combined comprise 120 different Frossard catalogues, with additional catalogues offered in the lots to follow. Present here are fewer of the numismatically important catalogues, but more of the rarities in the Frossard series. Quite a number of these are infrequently encountered, including the discovery copy of the thick-paper version of Sale 151, a rare archaeological sale. That catalogue, and many others, derive from a set collected years ago by the present cataloguer and sold to our consignor. Ex Cardinal Collection Library.
(Estimate: $1000)
