Mason & Company. MASON'S MONTHLY ILLUSTRATED COIN COLLECTOR'S MAGAZINE AND COIN PRICE CURRENT. Volume I, Nos. 1-12, complete for title. Boston, June 1884-May 1885. Tall 8vo, original printed paper covers. 124 pages plus unpaginated Coin Price Current leaves. Very good or better copies. Bourne 1880-29. A very scarce publication. Mason's phoenix-like series of periodicals spanned nearly a quarter century, comprising by his reckoning a total of fourteen volumes, of which this was the twelfth. This later volume rarely appears for sale. It was issued from Boston, to which Mason had relocated following the death of his wife and various other difficulties. He would stay there for six years before returning to Philadelphia. Ex M. Bourne Library.
