Steigerwalt, Chas. NUMISMATIC NEWS. Nos. 1-4. Lancaster, March 1895-February 1896. Four issues, complete. Tabloid format [29.5 by 22.5 cm]. 8 + 8 + 8 + 4 pages. Tape repairs to first and second issues; all issues with some degree of separation at horizontal fold; third issue with tear. Very good or so. The rarest of the Steigerwalt publications, which, given the rarity of all of them, is saying something. While arguably the best of his four periodicals, its tabloid format and brittle paper has ensured an almost total lack of survival. Completely lacking from both Champa and Bass.
