Steigerwalt, Chas. THE CURIO. Nos. 1-12, complete except for the May 1906 issue (No. 9). Lancaster, December 1898-April 1909. Eleven of twelve issues published. 8vo, self-covered as issued. First issue stained; very good or better. Also a very rare publication. The Curio functioned more as a fixed price list than a periodical, which may account for its poor survival rate. Like Numismatic News, above, it was completely lacking from both the Champa and Bass libraries. Ex John Eshbach Library (Kolbe & Fanning's 2013 New York Book Auction, lot 255) at $1200 hammer; ex Cardinal Collection Library.
