Rare Brooklyn Journal
Streeton, J.B. [publisher]. THE COIN AND STAMP JOURNAL. OF BROOKLYN. Volume I, No. 6 (Brooklyn, June 1878). 8vo, self-covered. 4 pages. Old clear tape along fore-edges, with staining; housed within cardboard covers. Very good or so. Bourne 1870-49. The only issue we recall ever seeing, though it lasted for nine issues, according to Crawford. Unlike most publications that purported to cover both stamps and coins, the coverage of this Brooklyn journal was indeed just about 50/50. Crawford 499. Ex M. Bourne Library.
