A notable sale of United States large cents, rare gold, gold proofs and silver coins, with a long description of the 1804 dollar. Apparently Joseph Mitchelson's annotated copy, with an invoice from the Chapmans for $311.78 loosely laid in. The first two plates depict American gold coins; the third plate illustrates silver dollars, an 1802 half dime, and an 1827 quarter; and the final two plates depict choice cents. 12435. Davis 196.
