Gordian III, 238-244. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 18.37 g, 12 h), Rome. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI / S C Pax standing front, head to left, holding branch in her right hand and scepter in her left. Cohen 176. RIC 256a. Minor deposits and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
