Arcadius, 383-408. Nummus (Bronze, 12 mm, 1.00 g, 1 h), Cyzicus, 388-392. D N ARCADIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Arcadius to right. Rev. SALVS REIPVBLICAE / SMKΓ Victory advancing left, holding trophy over her right shoulder and dragging with her left hand captive with bound hands; in field to left, Christogram. RIC 26c. An unusually well preserved example with a lovely brown patina. Struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
