Order of the Republic, First Class Set of Insignia in Silver, Silver-gilt and Enamels, c.1972, sash badge with later eagle suspension and original sash for wear, and breast star, both bearing Egyptian silver marks for Bichay of Cairo, complete in original blue box with miniature award and lapel rosette. Orders toned, extremely fine, box a little faded and scuffed in parts. (4)
Sold with small handwritten note 'Dr Wolfgang Kiesewetter' suggesting a possible attribution to a German Economist & Telecommunications Specialist of the same name.
