GAUL. Massalia. Circa 125-90 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.84 g, 5 h). Draped bust of Artemis to right, wearing stephane, bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. ΜΑΣΣΑ Lion walking left; below, Λ; in exergue, ΑΛ. Depeyrot 44.6. Maurel 656. Lightly toned and with a lovely lion. Light scratches, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
