CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.24 g, 12 h), Menandros, magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo to right with bow and quiver over his shoulder. Rev. ANTIOXEΩN - MENANΔPOΣ Zebu bull standing left, head facing; all within maeander pattern. Thonemann Group A, 4.a (O5/R12). Very rare. Minor marks and light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.
