CARIA. Stratonikeia. Circa 125/10-89 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 1.29 g, 12 h), Melantichos, magistrate. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΜΕΛΑΝΤΙΧΟΣ / Σ - T Eagle with spread wings standing left; to left, star above pileus. Meadows 129. SNG von Aulock 8143. Beautifully toned. A thin flan crack and with minor die breaks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
