KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 435-331 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.23 g, 9 h), Asiatic standard. [K]-Y Silphium plant with fruits. Rev. Head of Zeus-Ammon to right, bearded, with ram's horn over his ear; all within circular incuse. BMC 98 var. (differing ethnic) and pl. XII, 8. SNG Copenhagen -. Very rare. Slightly rough and with some scratches on the obverse and minor marks on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
