KINGS OF PERSIS. Darios (Darev) I, late 2nd century BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.67 g, 11 h). Head of Darius I to right, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by eagle. Rev. Fire temple with Ahura-Mazda above; to left, king standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Alram 556. Sunrise 584. van't Haaff 559. Nicely toned and with a very old pedigree. Light flan fault and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
