PHRYGIA. Sebaste. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.65 g, 1 h), first half of the 2nd century. Draped bust of Mên set to right on crescent, wearing Phrygian cap. Rev. CЄBACTHNΩN Asklepios standing front, head facing, leaning right on serpent-entwined staff. BMC 7. Lindgren III 613. RPC III 2601. Rare. A lovely issue of fine style. Minor traces of cleaning, otherwise, very fine.
