PISIDIA. Ariassus. Caracalla, 198-217. Assarion (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.50 g, 6 h). ΑΥΤ [Κ Μ ΑΥ] ΑΝΤΩΝЄΙΝΟC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΑΡΙΑCCЄΩΝ Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; at feet to left, panther seated left, head right. SNG Paris 1380. SNG von Aulock 5003. Von Aulock, Pisidien I, 438-45. Minor weakness and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
