Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.69 g, 6 h), mint in Northern Italy or travelling with Octavian in Illyricum, 35-34 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. IMP / [C]AE-SAR / [DIVI•F] Large and decorated round shield with central boss. BMC 309. Cohen 126. CRI 392. RIC 543a. Porous and the reverse struck somewhat off center and with minor scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
